Rainbow Imaging with Volume Holographic Lenses

We use transmission geometry volume holograms as depth-selective imaging lenses in optical profilometry.   In this talk, I will review the laser scanning 3D imaging system using volume holographic lenses, as well as real time non-scanning 3D volume holographic imaging system with rainbow illumination.   I will also talk about design and implementation of 4D (3D + spectral) imaging systems with volume holographic lenses. Experimental results will be shown, as well as some image post-processing methods will be discussed.
